Charles Easmon born in Ghana retired music promoter, worked for the Arts Council as an Artistic Director of the African & Caribbean Music Circuit for 15 years between 1995-2010.

The veteran will be in conversation with DJ Freestyle this Saturday 20th February 2021 from 6-9pm GMT.

Charles Easmon was the Art Council ambassador for promoting African and Caribbean music artists here in the UK/globally and the founding member of Sterns Records

He has worked with so many Jamaican musicians the likes of Toots and the Maytals, Third World, Morgan Heritage, Twinkle Brothers, Marcia Griffith, Anthony B, Julian Marley and reggae Dancehall icon U Roy who passed away 17th February 2021. Charles wanted to dedicate a fine tribute and a fascinating story of how U Roy saved his day!
